Tape hair extensions are thin, pre-taped wefts of real human hair that are applied close to the scalp using a medical-grade adhesive. They blend seamlessly with your natural hair and feel incredibly light and comfortable to wear.

Aftercare
These guidelines must be followed for ultimate results and longevity of hair extensions.
Before & After Your Appointment
- We ask that you please wash your hair 1 day before your maintenance/lift appointment
- Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after application of extensions
- We recommend your extensions get lifted every 6 weeks
Products To Use
- Only Seamless1 hair care products can be used on extensions
- Only Seamless1 shampoo can be used on the root area. On wash day, shampoo hair twice and rinse thoroughly to ensure hair is clean and there is no residue left at the tape area
- Seamless1 Conditioner, Mask, Leave-In Cream and Serum must only be applied from mid lengths to ends (avoid tape area)
- Seamless1 Hydrate Spray Heat Protectant to be sprayed on dry hair before the use of irons. Recommended heat – 180 degrees
General Care
- Real human hair extensions require you to brush your extensions gently on a daily basis. Ask your stylist for advice on the correct brush to use on extensions. Brush extensions before and after washing, small sections at a time. Avoid vigorous brushing when hair is wet as the tape is most vulnerable to slide off. Do not leave tape area wet.
- Bedtime Routine – Silk pillowcases and scrunchies are highly recommended. Avoid going to bed with wet hair. Brush hair and ensure there are no knots in the extensions. Apply Seamless1 Serum to mid lengths and ends. Tie extensions in a low loose ponytail to ensure the tapes are sitting down and flat on the scalp. Plait hair.
- Best to plait your hair while swimming. Extensions must avoid contact with chlorine, salt water, spray tan and sunscreen.
- Please ask your stylist for advice on how to tie your hair up.

What brand of tape extensions do you use?
We use Seamless1 Tape Extensions. They are made from double drawn Virgin Remy human hair and are known for their comfort, longevity and natural appearance.
Can I wear my hair up with tape extensions?
Yes, definitely. Once installed and blended, tape extensions are very discreet and sit flat, making them ideal for tying your hair up.
Can I shower or exercise with tape extensions in?
Yes, you can shower and exercise as usual. We just recommend avoiding chlorine and salt water, as they can affect the adhesive and dry out the hair.
Do I need a consultation before booking?
You can book straight in for 22 inch classic tape extensions. If you’re interested in 26 inch or invisible tape extensions, we’ll do a quick colour match consultation before booking so we can custom order the perfect match.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Inspo pics are always helpful. We’ll chat through your hair history, what you’re hoping to achieve and the best option for your hair type.
Are tape extensions suitable for short hair?
We recommend your hair be at least shoulder length so the extensions blend naturally. If your hair is shorter, book a consult and we’ll guide you honestly.
